Chin To Chest Stretch

Chin To Chest Stretch

Also known as: Neck Flexion Stretch • Forward Neck Stretch • Cervical Flexion Stretch • Neck Bow Stretch • Head Drop Stretch

After a long day of foraging or hunching over a honey pot, this stretch helps release the tension built up in the neck. Gently tucking the chin to the chest mimics the natural posture of a resting bear, promoting relaxation and restoring balance.

Instructions

  1. Sit or stand up straight with your shoulders relaxed.
  2. Slowly lower your chin towards your chest.
  3. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds.
  4. Slowly raise your head back to the starting position.

Benefits

  • Improves flexibility of the neck muscles.
  • Relieves tension in the upper back and neck.
  • Can help reduce headaches caused by neck tension.

Key Points

  • Move slowly and steadily.
